Instructor Spotlight: Pam Kirkland

Lecture: Using Ancestry.com

Pam Kirkland has been teaching and researching Family History for 40 years. Born in California but living in Oklahoma for the last 33 years. She graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a Bachelor’s Degree in History and is a Certified Professional Genealogist through BYU; her specialty being United States and Nova Scotia. Pam is Director of the FamilySearch Center in Moore Oklahoma and has volunteered her time and talents as Indexing Director for the LDS Church for many years. She enjoys helping others and the youth learn to find their own families and solve their family history mysteries. Her passion is Family History and she will continue the search for long-lost Ancestors now that she is retired and has more time to spend on her love of all things family.
